My name is Rosemary and I’m a convergence journalist with a passion for multimedia storytelling.

At the Missouri School of Journalism, convergence majors learn how to tell stories across multiple platforms to reach the widest audience. Currently, I am working as a reporter for KBIA, Columbia’s NPR station. Before that I worked as a Missourian Statehouse Correspondent stationed in Jefferson City and wrote for Vox magazine.

I will be a multimedia intern this summer at WKOW, the ABC station in Madison, Wisconsin. This fall I will be headed to Brussels, Belgium for a journalism internship.

Besides journalism, I am studying to earn my minor in political science. -A topic that is rarely in the news these days…

I work as an assistant at the Institute of Public Policy at the University of Missouri where I copy edit, produce videos, graphics, newsletters and help upkeep the website.

In my free time, I serve as the president of the Mizzou club rowing team, risk manager for the SCUBA club and help TA Scuba Theory. Water recreation is my passion, frozen or in its regular state. If I fall off the grid, you can most likely find me rowing, swimming, diving, kayaking or (if winter) ice skating… just head towards the water.
